What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
HENOVERA Global Group runs this website and decides how the personal information collected through it is used. Our offices are in Lagos, Nigeria and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This notice covers the website only. If you become a client or a partner, the agreement between us sets out how information is handled in that relationship.
What we collect, and why
The site has three inquiry forms. Each asks only for what the receiving team needs in order to reply.
- Client inquiry Start a conversation
Your name, work email, company, role and country, and what you tell us about your business and what you need.
We use it to reply and to pass your inquiry to the team best placed to help.
- Partnership inquiry Explore partnership
The same contact details, plus the kind of organisation you represent, what it offers and the markets it works in.
HENOVERA Partnerships uses it to judge whether an alliance is worth discussing, and to reply either way.
- Investor inquiry Request the investor brief
Your name, work email, organisation and the type of investor or institution you represent.
We use it to send the investor brief and to answer your questions about HENOVERA.
We use these details to deal with your inquiry. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as identity numbers, bank details or health information. Please leave it out of the message field.
If you email us directly, for example at careers@henovera.com, we keep your message and anything attached so that we can reply.
When any page loads, our hosting provider also records basic technical information: IP address, browser type and the time of the request. It is used for security and to keep the site running.
When you start filling in a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission for spam sent by automated scripts. To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and some technical details of your browser and connection, whichCloudflare's privacy policy covers.
Analytics
Analytics are off until you allow them. If you do, we record which pages are viewed and which forms are started and sent, so that we can see which parts of the site are useful. There are no advertising trackers on this site, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
You can come back to this page and change your choice at any time.
Who we share information with
Inside HENOVERA, an inquiry goes to the operating company that can answer it. Outside HENOVERA, we share personal information only with:
- service providers that host the site, deliver email and hold our contact records, acting on our instructions under contract
- professional advisers, where we need advice on an inquiry
- authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it is processed
Our teams in Nigeria and Malaysia read and handle inquiries, so information sent from one country may be processed in the other.
Some of our service providers store data in other countries. Where that happens, we use the safeguards that Nigerian and Malaysian law require for transfers abroad.
How long we keep it
- An inquiry that does not lead to a working relationship is deleted two years after our last contact with you.
- If you become a client or a partner, we keep the correspondence for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period the law requires.
- Analytics records are kept for 14 months.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 give you rights over your personal information. Whichever country you are in, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- delete your information, or stop using it
- stop analytics, which you can also do yourself on this page
We reply within 21 days. If our answer does not settle the matter, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia.
