We connect your business to what it lacks, and we stay.

A good company can still be short of a market, or of the partner who could open one. HENOVERA Global Group is a strategic business partnership group. We find what is missing and put the relationship on written terms, then stay to answer for the result. We start in Nigeria and Malaysia.

What we are for.

Our purpose is written into the Group's constitution. The vision and the mission follow from it. Hold any of them against what we actually do.

PurposeWhy we exist

To create, connect, and scale opportunities that enable organizations to create, capture, and sustain value through strategic partnerships and integrated commercial growth.

From the constitution of HENOVERA Global Group

In plain terms: we find an opportunity and bring the right parties to it. We stay until it pays for each of them, and looks likely to keep paying.

VisionWhere we are going

To be the one partner through which a business in any of our markets can reach the buyers, suppliers, allies and capital it needs.

We are building towards that one region at a time. The first step is the corridor between Africa and ASEAN, opened from Nigeria and Malaysia.

MissionWhat we do, engagement by engagement

To open markets and structure partnerships with each client, and to stay until the commercial work produces results both sides can measure.

Every engagement follows the same ten stages. The first is learning the business and the last is starting the next cycle. See the SBPG Core Method™

Three kinds of firm in one group.

You could file HENOVERA under consultancy, trading company or distributor, and each time you would be partly right. Look at where each of them stops.

How HENOVERA differs from a consultancy, a trading company and a distributor
Kind of firmWhat it doesWhere it stops
A consultancyStudies the business and recommends a course of action. At the recommendation. Carrying it out is left to the client.
A trading companyBuys and sells goods across borders. At the transaction. It has no part in what the client builds next.
A distributorTakes a product into the market and the network it already serves. At the edge of its own territory and its own product lines.
HENOVERAA strategic business partnership groupAdvises, connects, sells, sources and distributes, in whatever combination the work needs. It carries on past delivery. We measure what the work produced and begin the next cycle with you.

You get only the parts you need.

A company that needs a distributor in Nigeria gets a distributor. A company that needs a market assessed, a partner found and a venture set up gets all of that from one group, and we answer for the whole of it.

See what we offer from day one

The Founders' account.

HENOVERA started with something we kept seeing. A good business stalls, and the reason is nearly always outside it.

A manufacturer makes a product people would buy and has no route to the market where they are. An investor has capital and can't find an opportunity that has been put together properly. Each holds half of something valuable. The other half exists, in someone else's hands, and the two never meet.

We started calling this isolation. Nobody keeps a record of the partnership that was never formed or the market that was never entered, so the cost never shows up anywhere. We think it is one of the most expensive problems a business can have.

The usual answer is to hire vendors. One writes the strategy, another makes the introduction, and somebody else moves the goods. Each is paid for its piece and goes. The business is left to join the pieces up by itself, which is exactly what it couldn't do to begin with.

A partner shares the outcome, so it has every reason to tell you the truth.

So we set out to build a partner. A partner stays through the execution and has to live with its own advice. It is still there for the next cycle, and that makes the relationship worth more each time round.

That is also why HENOVERA is a group. Closing the gap for a client can take advice, a negotiated partnership, a trade route or a digital platform, and sometimes several of these in turn. We didn't want a client to have to change firms every time the work changed shape.

We are starting with two markets, Nigeria and Malaysia, because those are the places where we can be present and accountable today. The rest we will have to earn.

We are at the beginning, so judge us on a first engagement. If your business is holding half of something, we'd like to hear about it.

The Founders, HENOVERA Global Group

Start a conversation

A lean parent and six founding operating companies.

The parent group sets standards and governance. Each operating company does one part of the work. You deal with the people doing that work, and the Group answers for all of it.

Why the parent is lean

So that decisions are made close to the work. The parent sets direction and leaves delivery to the companies built for it.

Why six, and what comes after

These six cover the work we take on from day one. The Group is built to hold more operating companies, and we will add one when there is real work for it to do.

Where we stand today.

HENOVERA is at an early stage. The structure is in place and the track record is still to be built, so this section counts only what exists.
